ONE VISION · UNITED HANDS
More than a team
A family Legacy
Camera Crew began with Rajesh Dembla, a naval officer who followed his passion for photography and turned it into a lifelong pursuit. Photography became more than a profession. It became a way of seeing, of noticing people, emotions and the stories hidden in ordinary moments. He passed that passion on to his daughter, Soniya, first making her his favourite subject and eventually his protégé. What began as a father teaching his daughter to see through a camera grew into a shared language of storytelling. Today, Soniya leads Camera Crew’s artistic direction, carrying that legacy forward while shaping Camera Crew’s vision for a new generation.
Camera Crew, today, is a close-knit, in-house team of photographers, cinematographers, editors and designers. We work together from the first conversation to the final frame, bringing different perspectives and disciplines to every story. We care deeply about the details, the light, composition, movement, sound and edit but never at the expense of what is happening in front of us. Because beautiful imagery is only part of the story.
Over 9 years, we’ve had the privilege of documenting celebrations across 12+ countries from intimate celebrations at home to destination weddings across the globe. Every story brings a different light, landscape, culture and rhythm. But wherever we travel, our approach remains the same: to observe closely, be present and preserve what is uniquely yours.

Balwani
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey may have begun in advertising, but storytelling kept pulling me back to the world I grew up in, the world of cameras, celebrations, people and stories. ”
Today, I lead the creative direction at Camera Crew, documenting weddings across India and around the world with an approach rooted in observation, instinct and honesty.
Her direction gives the team room to notice the serious, the silly and the poetic without turning a celebration into a production.
Years from now, I want our photographs and films to bring you back to that feeling — to the people, the atmosphere and the moments you may have forgotten, but never want to lose.
And if our photographs and films can take you back to those moments and how they felt, then isn’t that what Cherishing Forever is all about?
The way we see
Our
approach
Real. Unscripted.
Intentional.
At Camera Crew, people come before pictures. We take the time to know you—your people, your traditions, your energy and the little things that make your story yours. We don’t manufacture moments. We notice them.
The fleeting. The imperfect. The unexpected.
Our approach is observant and intentional, with direction when it helps and space when it matters. No formula, no forced version of your story—just an honest reflection of the people, emotions and energy that made your wedding yours.
Because years from now, we don’t want you to simply remember how it looked.
We want you to remember how it felt.
